Archie Rose Pop-Up Bar, Socially Refreshing
Client: Foys Kirribilli, AU
Services: Logo, visual identity, illustrations & collateral
Year: 2020
Wanting to celebrate the summer months in style, Foys Kirribilli teamed up with Archie Rose Gin to present a temporary wharf side pop-up bar. Catering to young professionals, families and lower–North Shore locals, the bar was intended to help remind people of the casual joys provided by social interactions after the lockdown period.

Following a long period of heartbreak, isolation and declining face-to face interactions, Foys Kirribilli and Archie Rose Gin provided a fun, safe and relaxed way to ease back into social drinks.
In order to capture the relaxed atmosphere and friendly energy of a social, late-week drink, the logo and identity was created to reflect the ambience of a casual evening by the water. The soft and natural surroundings of the location and the intimacy of the venue also provided inspiration for the pastel colour palette.
The illustration style was intentionally breezy and flowing with a lack of detail representing switching off and relaxing after dealing with the intricacies of life. This was then supported by imperfect abstract colour forms behind each visual helping achieve that sense of carefree abandon after a long, tiring week.
The scale of the project included social posts, menus, internal posters and mail outs to the lower–North Shore.
